Myth About Eye Health

Eye is one of the top five senses provide information to the brain. Almost all the activities we do everyday, like walking, driving, watching TV, reading, all require a sense of sight. Eye health concerns, there are some myths that are often wrong.

- Reading in dim room that can damage the eyes
It's a myth. Poor lighting can cause eye was tired but will not damage your eyes.

- Watching television makes your eyes sore
It's also a myth. There is no evidence that sitting too close to the television or watch it for long periods can cause eye disease.

- Too much reading will make rapid eye wear
Myth again. Reading can make your eyes tired, but there is no evidence that it will harm you in the long term.

- Lots of eating carrots will improve the ability of vision
It's half-myth. You do need vitamin A for healthy eyesight, but very few, less than a carrot a day is enough. In addition, without the carrot too, as long as your diet is balanced, you'll need for vitamin A is guaranteed.
